Urban park Peškera, Makarska
One of the largest urban projects is underway in Makarska – the development of Peškera Park.
Colas Croatia (Profit Center Jug) is the proud contractor for this important project of the City of Makarska, which aims to create a functional, modern and sustainable urban space for the local community and their guests.
The project covers an area of 20,000 m², of which 80% will be green space.
The park will include:
• Recreational and pedestrian zones
• Sports fields
• Children's playgrounds and a skate park
• Outdoor gym, stage and benches for board games
• Areas for sunbathing, walking and relaxi
Contract signed for key roads on the island of Cres
We are proud to announce that a contract was signed this week with Croatian Roads for:
- Reconstruction of the DC100 state road on the Predošćica section (2.2 km)
- Extraordinary maintenance of the Beli – Predošćica section (2.1 km)
Location: Cres Island
Contractors: Colas Croatia and Asfalti Ptuj (Colas Croatia Group)
Project value: EUR 3.63 million
Works include:
- Preparatory and earthworks
- Pavement construction
- Geotechnical and concrete works
- Installation of traffic equipment and signage

Safety week in Colas
Although occupational health and safety are an extremely important topic at Colas every day, once a year an entire week is dedicated to this vital topic, where lectures by experts, exercises and workshops draw attention to how important safety at work is. This year's theme of Colas Safety Week was Shared Vigilance as a reminder that safety is a shared responsibility.
