You've probably heard of the acronym ESG. It refers to companies reporting on their impact on the environment, society and governance. It is part of Colas' ACT program (Act and Commit Together), a global project dedicated to socially responsible business. Both globally and at the Croatian level, we are collecting data on carbon footprint and other measurable aspects of business in order to develop a Sustainability Strategy by the end of the second quarter of this year. We have held a series of workshops, all with the aim of educating employees, creating collective awareness and responsibility, and aligning business with ESG goals and global trends. At Colas, we know that the ESG issue is not just a reputational issue, but also a business imperative. Our goal is to jointly build a vision for our Sustainability Strategy, which we will then all live together and be the driver of the changes we want to initiate towards the entire construction sector in the country.
